Why did you pick this one?
e.g. For my top choice, I picked Anatole because I find it easy approaching strangers to share some deep and harrowing (and potentially unhelpful) prophetic vision I have just had in the Great Hall. I love bridging roleplay between people and making a spectacle, and I can put on a big loud show about a prophecy or drama I feel EVERY VAMPIRE MUST KNOW. I also know a lot about the more estoreic side of Vampire lore and so would really enjoy chasing the plot hooks littered in briefs by interacting with as many people as I can and sharing plot around. Anatole is a character that devotes his life to chasing stories, and in this way, I feel I could do him justice <3 PLEASE LET ME BE YOUR ORACLE.
Why did you pick this one?
e.g I haven't touched VTM for ages but this character seemed more like a travelling, lone agent. Like Lucita but with a lot more freedom, because she isn't under a choker to her clan. I would love to be a Cappadocian - because necromancy! <3 - but also have the option of wearing a pretty dress and lounging about, talking to whoever I want but not causing a big stir. I like characters who can be a part of things without lots of antagonism. But with this character I have the option of conflict if I want, but I can equally just do whatever (within clan expectations of course!). I want to explore some of the occult part of the game, also maybe the politics, I am unsure yet. This character seemed like a great blank slate for what I could do with her during my game hours. And I would hopefully be able to have lots of in-clan connections too.
Why did you pick this one?
e.g My wife and I are hoping to get this as a pair. We are looking to explore the degeneration of humanity and how out of time stagnant elders can be - while providing game to others in the form of predating younger vampires for our unholy amusement, obsessing over a new target only to wrap them up in our eternal game against each other. We are experienced with VTM and how bored, entitled Ventrue can act when their passions have finally finally been sparked. We would love to see what can be inspired in these old stuffy mummies when they glimpse among these gifted humans something the Ambers were never expecting.
Why did you pick this one?
e.g I really love Old Clan Tzimisce, I also love the argument between the new and old about fleshcrafting and whether it should be avoided. Velya sits on a divide, an Old Clan Koldon capable of fleshcrafting, and this gives me a lot of room to have intimate game between both sides of the clan (whether positive or negative!). I really want to explore Koldonism itself, I have some ritual props and want to commune outside with the elements, I want to teach a potential human why there is a spirit in everything. I also want to verbally wreck the line of the Dracon because FUCK those guys. I am a bold but off-game kind roleplayer who prefers the scholarly/spiritual side of the clan but also really want to go to town on the Tremere because FUCK THOSE GUYS TOO.
Why did you pick this one?
e.g I am a slightly shy roleplayer but I work well with one-on-one shadowy stuff and doing deals with my connections or people on the side. I have a great idea for prosthetics for this one and want to investigate what is going on with the Black Sun by reaching into the underworld characters. I also want to play a bit of an outcast, I don't need to be the main attention. I would love some help on where I can do some reading for the clan, because I would love to come into the game being a font of knowledge - and maybe know one or two things about the Black Sun I learned in whispers that I can share with people who contact my character in game. Like Nosferatu spy game, and my other choices are all Nosferatu for this reason actually. If I cannot get any of them as my choice, I would be very happy for you to make me a custom vampire who is like any of my selections here! I basically want to explore uglier costume and weird makeup, have information to broker with, but also be able to have some connections with the Cappadocians (so I thought Troglodytia was best for that, though she is a pariah).
Any other characters you could enjoy playing?
If you've put five really popular canon characters, you might not get any of them. Best to tell us some others you would enjoy, just in case.
What are your off-game hard triggers? We ask this so that we can help tailor your brief and experience on the run you are in. Hard triggers are things that would mean you need to leave a scene or drop from roleplay entirely to keep yourself feeling safe. They may cause tremendous anxiety.
Having none is fine, too. Just say none, or leave blank.
What are your off-game soft triggers? Content that you would find uncomfortable to engage in but you would not need to leave the game space. This can be as specific or vague as you like, e.g. sexual roleplay; being humiliated; being bullied by a group; being an aggressor to someone else; suicide, etc.
What themes do you specifically love the idea of leaning into?

For example do you enjoy contact and sensual larp? Transformative play? Do you want to be a victim? An aggressor? Both? Do you enjoy being a ring leader or creating secret groups? Do you like being manhandled? Do you want to play people off against each other and manipulate the strings? Literally tell us anything.
How much do you benefit from pre-written connections? This question does NOT affect your sign-up chance here, it just helps us when writing briefs.
*
Can take them or leave them, depends on how they are written
I like them, but I don't always use them
I love them, and I need them to feel comfortable approaching other players for gameplay
I actually really dislike them, if I can opt out that would be great
