The Illusionist
Making people disappear and reappear is a wonderful way to ply a trade on the stage. Sometimes you wish you could make the idiots of the world disappear, for good, but your talents require a willing participant to your "parlour tricks." Being able to hide up to five people though, as if they weren't there to the naked eye? Have them vanish in a blink? That's magic, to people. You know they’re all still there hiding in your illusion, you can see them and they can see each other, but no one else can.
Long Description: Whether you've used it for foul play or just play, for work or for leisure, for good or for criminal activity, you're able to walk in plain sight while hiding someone else (even several elses) in thin air beside you. They're not actually gone, or truly invisible, but when you flex your power and cloak a gathering about you, people turn the other eye from your allies as if they're not even there, and certainly, unless the ally does something ridiculous to break your illusion (like shout, or move away from you, but you can't be responsible for low intellect) they stay hidden for as long as you want. Small corridors tend to be a problem, but you've worked out a system of making up to five people move single file safely enough while masked, they just have to stay connected by skin-to-skin touch of someone else who is masked. The person behind you only needs to hold onto your wrist or neck or lower back beneath a shirt, and then they'll be hidden, and the next person can hold that ally's hand and so on and so forth. It's not exactly foolproof, and if they break contact that can interrupt the whole line but really, you can get a small force into places you shouldn't. Or out of places.
You just wish you could make yourself invisible, at this point. What a joy it must feel to be invisible!
Mechanics: You may discover during the game that if you consume the blood of The Ghost human character, you will be able to cloak yourself in the same form of "notice-me-not" as they can, and still be able to see each other. Their blood lasts in this effect for one hour, though you do need a good few glugs. Doing this means you will be able to have yourself and another five people being Obfuscated at once, if they are in a chain on touching contact. The Ghost can be their own seventh entity that is “invisible.” In order for them to be able to see those who you have hidden, they will need to consume your blood; this grants them temporary immunity to your Obfuscation for one hour.
Otherwise, while you cannot become "invisible" you can make up to five people Obfuscated around you. This functions much like the vampiric power, and can be broken in the same way. Strong levels of Auspex can at times see those you have hidden - Auspex being a vampiric power, you can find it on the Mechanics page towards the bottom.
